چکیده

In this study, predominant bacterial and archaeal populations their roles during anaerobic mono-digestion of food waste (FW) co-digestion FW with straw pellets (SP) at thermophilic temperature (53 ± 1 °C) were assessed by Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) analysis organic loading rates (OLRs) 3.0 7.0 gVS/L/d. Depending on the seed; results revealed that Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria were, respectively most prevalent phyla both OLRs investigated. On other hand, Euryarchaeota was dominated methanogens playing crucial role in biogas production correlated mainly activities Methanobacteria Methanomicrobia class level. Acetoclastic Methanosaetae genus OLR = gVS/L/d; however, shared same predominance hydrogenotrophic Methanospirillium highest OLR. Although no clear effect response to addition gVS/L/d could be seen terms methanogenic archaea level, some shift from Methanobacterium higher Nevertheless, prominent microbial presence wheat increased likely due adapted inoculation start-up which also demonstrated relatively stable yields co-digestion.

Microbial diversity during composting cycles of rice straw

Mesophilic bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes varied during composting cycles with high numbers in the initial and final cycles with maximal values in compost C and D, and sharply decreased in the heating cycles. Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis were dominated at the initial composting cycle. Whereas, at maturity Bacillus subtilis was the major followed by B.badi...

Inferring microbial interactions in thermophilic and mesophilic anaerobic digestion of hog waste

Anaerobic digestion (AnD) is a microbiological process that converts organic waste materials into biogas. Because of its high methane content, biogas is a combustible energy source and serves as an important environmental technology commonly used in the management of animal waste generated on large animal farms. Much work has been done on hardware design and process engineering for the generati...
